Dom Perignon Brut 2015
Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015
Few Champagnes carry the same reputation as Dom Pérignon. Produced only in years that meet the house's uncompromising standards, each vintage is a unique interpretation of a single harvest rather than a blend designed for consistency. The 2015 release is another outstanding example, earning exceptional praise from critics, including 97 points from James Suckling, 95 points from Robert Parker, 95 points from Wine Spectator, and 17/20 from Jancis Robinson.
The origins of Dom Pérignon trace back to the Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon, whose work at the Abbey of Hautvillers during the 17th century helped shape the future of Champagne. His relentless pursuit of quality, particularly through the art of blending, laid the foundations for one of the world's most celebrated wines. Today, the house continues that philosophy by releasing only vintage Champagnes, choosing to bottle a wine only when the harvest truly deserves the Dom Pérignon name.
The 2015 growing season delivered beautifully ripe, healthy fruit, allowing the house to create a Champagne of remarkable depth and precision. A near-equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir gives the wine both richness and freshness, combining generous fruit with impressive structure and finesse.
Produced using the traditional méthode champenoise, Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 undergoes its second fermentation in the bottle before spending more than eight years aging on its lees. This extended maturation develops extraordinary complexity, revealing layers of toasted brioche, citrus, white stone fruit, delicate spice, roasted nuts and a finely etched mineral finish. Powerful yet graceful, it is a Champagne built to impress today and to evolve beautifully for many years to come.
