"Blu Onice" Irpinia Aglianico 2020, Nativ
Blue Onyx comes from a single vineyard at 600 meters above sea level, in the Irpino municipality of Gesualdo, on a rocky terrain located near an ancient onyx quarry whose stones extracted, they are characterised by a yellow colour and unique blue streaks that give the wine its name.
The Aglianico grapes are harvested between late October and the first days of November. After a low-temperature pre-maceration, the must undergoes fermentation and maceration for approximately 20 days. The wine is then aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Displaying a ruby-red colour, it offers inviting aromas of delicate spices and Taurasi’s Maiatica cherry. On the palate, it is soft, fruity, and impeccably balanced.
Excellent with grilled meats, it also pairs beautifully with blue cheeses.

TASTING NOTES
The wine is bright ruby red in colour, with a harmonious and velvety taste, characteristic notes of cherries and liquorice.
