"Vulcano 36" Extra Brut, Zambon
From the ancient volcano that went extinct about 50 million years ago, the magnificent Monte Calvarina area was created, the most significant promontory in the Soave denomination and especially in the Lessini Durello area. The careful selection of the south-facing clusters surrounded by fabulous biodiversity and in combination with the roots that touch the volcanic rock, allows for bringing to the glass the maximum depth of the terroir.
Thus, an exuberant, sleek, elegant, and extremely volcanic sparkling wine is born.
TASTING NOTES:
The grapes are harvested in the vineyards located between Monte Duello and Monte Calvarina at an average altitude of 450 meters above sea level.
On the nose, this sparkling wine expresses great breadth, intensity and balance, with sulphurous and floral notes, such as wisteria and acacia flowers, supported and sustained on the palate by an elegant and marked dry, mineral and very dry finish.
A sparkling wine capable of expressing typicality, once tasted you will not be able to do without it.
Ageing on its own yeasts in the bottle for 36 months.
