TASTING NOTES:
The wine has a ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The bouquet is ample and intense, featuring fragrant aromas of red ripe fruit like cherries, raspberries, and blackberries with nuances of red berries jam enveloped with spicy notes derived from skilled ageing in oak. The flavour is medium-bodied, overall softness, and silky tannins. It pairs well with spicy cold cuts, vegetable soups, grilled meats, roasts, boiled meats, and mildly aged cheeses. Its delicate structure and fragrant fruity character make of this Merlot an ideal companion to dishes that would ordinarily not be easily paired, such as timbale or tagliolini pasta with artichokes.
